The TDA1524A chip is a two-channel (stereo) electronic volume, balance and timbre control for bass and treble.
The timbre unit has frequency compensation (loudnes), which equalizes the low and high frequencies by ear at low volume levels. Frequency compensation is activated by the "ON / OFF TC" jumper. To use frequency compensation continuously, you must remove the jumper from the board.
