This power supply unit is designed for connection to two secondary windings of the transformer with mid-point connection and maximum alternating voltage AC45V-0-45V
The diodes of the bridge 4 Schottky diodes on 20A in the TO220 package are shunted with film, and the PSU outputs are shunted with high-quality film, polypropylene capacitors. The board has an LED indication of the output voltage: red " + ", blue " - ". Diodes in an AB class amplifier do not require additional heat dissipation. Nevertheless, if there is a need for radiators on diodes, it must be ensured that the substrates of the diodes (and radiators without isolation from the substrate) do not touch each other.
It is not recommended to use the power supply at maximum voltage, since power surges in the power supply network can damage electrolytic capacitors.
Optimal AC voltage AC 42V-0-42V
Connection through a soft start system is highly recommended, as when the power supply is turned on, the capacitors are discharged and at the initial (short-term) moment the charging current of the capacitors is almost equal to the short-circuit current.
