High-quality inverting amplifier based on the original and very popular TDA 7294 microcircuit. The word "Inverting" means - inverting the phase by 180 degrees and this effect is achieved by supplying a signal not to the positive signal output of the microcircuit, but to the negative one. The main reason for the inverting switching on of this and not only microcircuits is the possibility of avoiding the separation capacitor in the OOS circuit, which in turn cannot positively affect the overall quality of the amplifier. On the other hand, the influence of this capacitor is minimal and you will most likely not be able to notice the difference by ear. At the same time, in the overwhelming majority of cases, it is possible to abandon this capacitor in a conventional, non-inverting connection, but for complete peace of mind and guarantee that there is no constant voltage at the output, use a blocking capacitor at the input, and an acoustics protection unit at the output.
A wide range of supply voltages, an output stage on field-effect transistors, a low coefficient of nonlinear distortion makes it possible to build an amplifier with a power of 20 to 100 W, which makes it possible to classify an amplifier based on these ims as a Hi-Fi.
