Conclusions
| The spectrum of harmonic distortion can be safely called the "handwriting" of any power amplifier and this amplifier with
harmonic distortion is okay. I would also like to note the "suppressed" 3rd harmonic with a level of about -105 dB -
which is very good. At the same time, the 5th harmonic has a level of about -98dB, which is higher than that of the 3rd harmonic.
Bottom Line: Excellent amplifier with very low distortion and high sound quality that you can buy from us at kit-amp.com store. Unfortunately, this microcircuit has long been discontinued and to find the original chip from TDA2030A (STM) it's getting harder. Compared to fakes, which are 99.9% on the market, the original sounds much better. Hearing the difference in sound compared to a fake is not difficult. It is recommended to use this amplifier for low-power acoustics or full-range speakers |
